An unmissable summer’s day out on Waiheke Island, taste boutique Waiheke wines and artisan food in one location, while basking in the sounds of some top live music.
Kicking off at 11am until 5:30pm on Saturday 1 April, enjoy gourmet food and wine with a live soundtrack of musicians;
11am to 12pm Rikki Morris and Chet O’Connell
12pm to 2pm Tami Neilson
2pm to 4pm The Peter Urlich Swingin’ Sextet
4pm to 5pm Aaron Carpenter & the Revelators.
Award-winning vineyards who will serve their hand crafted wines are; Awaroa, Batch, Cable Bay, Frenchmans Hill Estate, Goldie Wines, Kennedy Point, Man O War, Miro, Mudbrick, Obsidian, Passage Rock, Peacock Sky, Postage Stamp, Stonyridge, Tantalus, Te Motu, Wild on Waiheke and Woodside Hill.
Wine tastings $3-$5, Glasses of wine $10 – $20
There will be a tempting and tasty line-up of artisan food vendors including Te Motu, Dragon Fired pizza, Urban Escargot, South American Oven, Shima Sushi, Babikas Table, langos and Rangihoua Estate olive oil.
Artisan food $5 – $15 per serving.
Buses will run from both ferries to Te Motu “The Airstrip” and return, so all you need to worry about is having fun!
Ticket price includes the ferry, bus, a wine glass, lanyard, festival booklet and a glass of wine on arrival. On island tickets are also available.
No food or drink can be bought onto the festival site – empty water bottles can be bought in and refilled from the free water stations.
You are welcome to bring picnic blankets or small fold up chairs to sit on.
